Comic Con is coming back to Liverpool on October 21 for the weekend and there are nearly 40 famous names in attendance.
The convention is a dream for people who love all things film and TV, comic books and sci-fi. Cosplayers will also be in attendance, for all those who want to dress as their favourite characters. But it isn't just about the celebrities, there are also merch stalls and iconic film props available to see.

The previous Comic Con in April was a star-studded affair, with Doctor Who’s Matt Smith and Stranger Things star Grace Van Dien in attendance. Con-goers will be able to meet their favourite celebrities once again this month as the popular event returns to the Exhibition Centre. Fans can even book a picture and autograph opportunity with their favourite stars.
Among the big names attending this year are Harry Potter's Helena Bonham Carter, Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer, and Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are also due to reunite at the convention.

Ahead of the event, a number of celebrities have pulled out of the event. Recently, The Good Place star Jameela Jamil updated fans saying that she was unable to attend the event due to 'a variety of incredibly infuriating circumstances'.
Comic Con Liverpool will take place on October 21 and 22 at the Exhibition Centre. Tickets are available to buy now for the event via the website here.
