Coronation Street's Steve McDonald star Simon Gregson has received well wishes from fans after sharing an honest family update on social media.
The actor is a household name thanks to having appeared in the long-running ITV programme for more than three decades. As well as his Corrie role, Simon came second in I'm a Celebrity 2021, meaning few people in the UK will be unfamiliar with the star.
Having centred in a number of dramatic storylines, unlucky-in-love Steve has been married a whopping seven times to five different women. In real life, Simon is happily married to former Hollyoaks actress Emma Gleave and they have three boys together - Alfie, 16, Henry, 13, and six-year-old Teddy.

On Tuesday evening (November 21) Simon, 49, shared a photo of Alfie on Instagram. He said: "My boy since 4 years old, dreaming of playing football for a living.
"[He] plays for three teams, trains every day and night, and no one has seen him. My heart breaks every day".
Fans have rushed to offer support in the comments section. Marie said: "Feel the same as you. My lad is so talented age 17, plays for 2 teams, trains, runs, goes to gym to keep fitness levels up such a hard job to get scouted now a days. best of luck to your boy x".
Kerry said: "Ian Wright wasn't spotted until he was 21. Never give up hope" and Maureen said: "He's only young yet, plenty of time". Pauline said: "Hopefully one day, if he’s got the gift someone will spot him x".
