Gary Neville has named Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as the one man he’d ‘bring to Manchester United tomorrow’ if he could.
Neville made the admission during an appearance on The Daily Ketchup podcast, in which the former England defender turned Sky Sports pundit opened up about how he is in awe of the German for the job he has done at Anfield.
Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015 and oversaw a 0-0 draw at Tottenham Hotspur in his first game in charge of a youthful, inexperienced Liverpool team. However, since then, the Reds have re-established themselves among Europe’s elite.

During his time in charge of Anfield, Klopp’s side has been crowned Premier League champions for the first time and won the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Uefa Super Cup and Club World Cup.
And when asked to name who he feels is the best coach in the world right now, Neville named Klopp, before revealing he would pick the German to replace Erik ten Hag if given the chance to do so.
He said: “I’d say Jurgen Klopp. Jurgen Klopp works with a budget which is far less than Pep Guardiola. Pep Guardiola’s a genius, and he’ll be the one who’s remembered forever more. But Jurgen Klopp, for me, is an amazing manager.
“If you said to me which manager could I bring to Manchester United tomorrow, it would be Jurgen Klopp.”
United are currently six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table and will return to action against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
