John Bishop was honoured as he shared his discovery in the green room last night.
The 56-year-old has established himself as one of the biggest names in UK comedy and regularly sells out arenas across the country. John was performing in aid of a special cause last night as he hosted an event for the teenage cancer trust.
The event was held in Abbey Road Studio and John said he realised the significance of his surroundings when he spotted something special in the green room. He shared a snap of songsheets from The Beatles, who are of course synonymous with Abbey Road.

He told his 896,000 Instagram followers: "Not just any Green Room …..tonight I am hosting an event for @teenage_cancer at Abbey Road Studio and I just walked in the green room whilst the musicians are warming up in the studio and saw this …. makes you realise you are somewhere special."
John's sister, Carol, took to the comments and said: "Oh my god our Eddie would love that and my Elle would love playing the music x. Lucky you."
Fans were also wowed by the update as Dan said: "Amazing @johnbish100 hope it goes well."
Diane added: "Wow, amazing , hope the evening is sound."
Jayne posted: "Wonderful. Have a great night."
