Will there be fireworks at River of Light?
Fireworks have been absent from the illumination trail for several years now.
Last year, Cllr Harry Doyle, cabinet member for culture and visitor economy, said: "We took the decision that it was better to spend our resources on 17-nights of family-friendly activity rather than one night of fireworks."
Sarah Latcham, Communications Manager for Liverpool City Council, confirmed that fireworks won't be returning this year. There are currently no signs of them ever making a comeback.
