A Liverpool college is offering a course that’s aiming to attract a new kind of student.
SAE Institute Liverpool has announced they will now be offering a two-year degree course for "influencers." Social media influencers are people who have built large and active audiences on online platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.
SAE has started to provide a new degree course titled Content Creation and Online Marketing. SAE Institute provides creative media programmes at four UK campuses in Liverpool, London, Leamington Spa and Glasgow, providing two-year degrees which are validated by the University of Hertfordshire.

The degree course offers modules focusing on photography, videography, podcasting, online marketing and communications. The institute says students will also work with leading film-making, audio-recording and web design software and hardware to prepare them for the demands of a professional career in content creation.
Campus director Graham Lysaght said: “The course will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop online content that connects with audiences and meets business needs.”
