Love Island star Chris Taylor has a role in the new Barbie movie - at Margot Robbie’s request.
The Aussie actress is a huge fan of the ITV2 dating show, and even threw a Love Island-themed birthday party last year. So, it's no surprise she was excited when she met Chris at a premiere a few years ago.
The 32-year-old said he’d kept his role in the highly anticipated movie a secret for more than two years, and his Hollywood debut came about after he partied with Margot and his fellow Love Island stars in 2020, reports the Mirror.

Margot bumped into former contestants Lucie Donlan, Michael Griffiths and Jordan Hames at the London premiere of her movie Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn, and invited them to the official after-party.
Chris managed to tag along to the exclusive bash thanks to being roommates with Michael and Jordan, and ended up landing a movie role.
He told LadBible: “There is a bit of a backstory. The lads went to a premiere. They met Margot, and then afterwards Margot shouted them and said ‘Come to the after party!’ cause she’s obsessed with Love Island right.”
“So then, I was living with the boys at the time, so I was like ‘I’m coming’ and she knew who we all were. She watches the show.
"So she comes up to me like ‘Chris!’ and I’m like ‘what the f**k is going on?’ I dunno, she must have just remembered me from then.
His part in the film involves him saying: “And the Nobel prize for horses goes to Ken!”
Margot was spotted cosying up to the Love Island stars on the pink carpet for the London premiere of the Barbie movie earlier this month, and was star struck when taking selfies with last year’s winners Ekin-Su Culcologlu and Davide Sanclimenti.
