Michael Owen has announced some exciting career news, and it's worlds apart from his life as a football commentator.
The 43-year-old quit football in 2013 after a 17 year career that saw him play for Liverpool FC, Real Madrid and England, among others. Since retiring Michael has been a regular pundit and co-commentator on BT Sport.
But in a new career move, Michael will now follow in Louise Redknapp's footsteps.

The former pro footballer took to Instagram on Thursday evening to share that he has launched a new clothing range with UK retailer Peacocks. Sharing a photo of himself and Louise, 49, he said: "Great night in London to celebrate the launch of my Christmas Edit with @peacocks_fashion.
"Thank you to everyone who attended."
Louise launched her first Peacocks fashion range back in 2021 and has recently shared her new Autumn/Winter 2023 collection with the brand. The former Eternal singer commented on Michael's post: "Great to see you both last night x"
The Michael Owen X Peacocks range is now available to shop in stores and online.
