Royal Mail has shared the last posting dates for Christmas in 2023.
The countdown to Christmas has officially started as many households will have already started their shopping and card writing. But for anyone wishing to post any letters or parcels, make sure you check the deadline to avoid missing out.
On its website, Royal Mail says: "Beat the festive rush and get all your letters and parcels in the post on time. Allow plenty of time for posting. Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for International deliveries."

It added: "Here you’ll find helpful information to make this Christmas the best one yet, including the latest posting dates, seasonal job opportunities, and how to send your letters and parcels safely with Royal Mail."

However, it's important to note that the last recommended dates for customers using the post office for international postage may differ and may be a little earlier. For International Tracking and Signature services, dates are December 6, 7 and 8.
